Data controller

Atlent ApS (CVR 46480813), Denmark. For any privacy-related inquiries, contact us at contact@atlent.io.

Analytics

We use PostHog for page views and product analytics. On our public website, analytics runs only if you accept cookies: until you accept, PostHog is not loaded and no analytics data leaves your browser. When you are signed in to the product, we process usage analytics on the basis of our legitimate interest in understanding and improving how customers use the service. Declining cookies stops us storing analytics data on your device, and this signed-in analytics then runs only for the duration of your visit, but it does not stop the processing itself. PostHog is EU-hosted (eu.posthog.com). We do not send your name or email address to PostHog. You have the right to object to this processing at any time, and you can exercise it yourself: use “Stop product analytics for my account” under Settings, Account. The objection is recorded against your account, so it takes effect immediately and applies on every device you sign in from. You can also email us at contact@atlent.io and we will do it for you.

Time spent in the app

When you work on a process in Atlent, we record how long you are active on each part of it (for example the canvas or interviews), in one-minute totals. Atlent uses this to report to your organization how long mapping a process took, per process and per role, never per person. We do not record what you type or click, and we stop counting when the tab is in the background.

Error tracking

We use Sentry for error monitoring. Sentry may collect technical data such as your browser type, operating system, and error stack traces. No personally identifiable information is collected: we run Sentry with personal data collection switched off, and session replay is disabled. Error monitoring sets no cookies and stores nothing on your device, so it is not a cookie and does not ask for your consent. We process this data on the basis of our legitimate interest in keeping the service secure and working correctly, the same basis as the signed-in analytics described above. You have the right to object to this processing at any time by contacting us.

How we use your data

  • Improve our site through pseudonymised product analytics

Data retention

Analytics data is retained per PostHog defaults and is pseudonymised: it is linked to an account identifier, not to your name or email address.

Your rights (GDPR)

Under the GDPR, you have the right to:

  • Access your personal data
  • Rectify inaccurate data
  • Request erasure of your data
  • Data portability
  • Restrict processing
  • Object to processing

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at contact@atlent.io. Objecting to product analytics needs no email: Settings, Account has a control that stops it for your account straight away.

Data sharing

We do not sell your data. Data is shared only with the following processors:

  • PostHog: analytics (EU-hosted)
  • Sentry: error monitoring

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected in the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.
